ABOUT ME

Nice to meet you!

When I was younger I always wanted to be a teacher, however, as I grew up my career ambitions changed as I discovered new ways to make a difference. One thing was always constant: my desire to help others and create a positive impact.

Since then I’ve graduated from the University of Waterloo on the Dean’s List with a B.A. (Honours) in Economics and a Minor in Psychology, and I’m now pursuing a Post-Graduate Programme in Marketing at Welingkar Institute of Management.

Through trying to pursue my interest in behavioural economics by applying them to my marketing strategies, I believe this is my way of creating a positive impact.

Outside of work

Outside client work, I read a lot and share what I’m reading — quick notes on Goodreads and @the_aavanti_archives, longer reviews on my blog The Aavanti Archives (with a few NetGalley badges along the way).

Given my love for video games, I also sometimes stream a cosy game on Twitch @agscykoh. Moreover, I love photography: I’ve travelled to 20+ countries and keep an eye out for small street moments and soft light — you’ll find those on @agsyckoh.jpg.

What do I do now?

I’m a marketer–designer who helps founders and small teams get seen: quick landing pages, simple branding and short-form content that earns clicks.

I’ve shipped WordPress/Bricks pages for launches, grown social reach by triple digits, and kept a 6k+ newsletter cadence on track.

I’m comfortable across copy, light design, campaign management, podcast management, and basic analytics.

I care about tidy deliverables you can use the same day—practical, collaborative, on time.

Like what you’ve seen?

If my work resonates and you’d like to chat or explore a collab, send me a message—I’d love to hear what you’re building.
